Academic Project - 2D Character to 3D Model

The focus on this project was to recreate a 2D (or 3D) Character, in to a HD 3D Model, using images as reference.
We where free to pick whichever character we liked, as long as it was an original 2D character or 3D character, that could be translated in to a high-poly 3D model.
I had a few characters in mind, but the one I ended up picking was Doremi Harukaze, from the hit anime series "Ojamajo Doremi".
Apparently, there where no models of this character in 3D, so...it was time someone did something about that!
The final step on this project was to print the character on a 3D Printer, but the idea was later scrapped and never happened...
